Waffles
Description
Quick and easy waffles.
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 250 ml milk
- 50 g butter (melted and cooled)
- 0.5 tsp vanilla
- 225 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp oil
- Jam, chocolate spread

Turn on the waffle machine so it can heat up.

Beat the eggs, add the milk and the melted butter and mix well with the vanilla.

In a bowl add the dry ingredients and mix well.
- 225 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar

Mix the dry and wet ingredients until you get a homogenous mixture.

6 minutesLightly oil the waffle plates in the machine so the mixture doesn't stick. Pour a ladle worth in each . Cook until golden in colour (usualy between 5 and 8 mins) or depending on your taste.

Use up the whole mixture to make about 8 waffles and serve with sweet spread, jams etc. * Note: the waffles can be frozen once they cool.
